School Corner: Here it is August and school will be starting soon. I am glad to announce that we have hired two new half-time teachers to fill the Music position and the 5-8 Math position. We are fortunate to have hired veterans James Hunt for Music and Julia Dille for Math. Both teachers have over 30 years experience and are excited about working with St. Mary's students. Also Lisa Hackney has been hired as the new lunchroom supervisor. Welcome to both our new teachers and Lisa. Open house will be held Monday, August 25, 2008 from 6:00- 8:00 PM. School will open for students Wednesday, August 27, 2008. More to come in the future about this exciting year.

Here is the schedule of the day for students:

7:30 a.m. Students may enter building. Students are to stay in cafeteria. Breakfast
will be available for $1.25.

8:00 a.m. Students are released to classroom.

8:10 a.m. Tardy Bell

10:50-11:30 a.m. K-4 lunch. Students will go out for recess and then eat lunch. Lunch
price is $2.00.

11:25 -12:05 p.m. 5-8 lunch. Students will eat and then go out for recess. Lunch price is
$2.25.

3:00 p.m. Dismissal

School Mass is Friday at 9:00 a.m.
