SCHOOL CLOSING & DELAYS

The Principal’s Office must approve and release all official notices of delayed openings or closings.

Should either decision be made, the Principal’s Office will follow these guidelines:

  1. The Principal or his designee will notify local radio and TV stations and Cleveland TV stations.
  2. Delayed school opening or school closing:
    1. The Principal will report to the school as early as weather and/or traffic conditions permit, if cancellation of events are necessary.
    2. Students who do show up to school should be sent home.
    3. Arrange for telephone coverage if possible.
